Who I am
As an imaginative kid who grew up with my nose buried in books, I’ve come to believe that everything – every world-changing idea, every spark of brilliance, every daring endeavour – starts with the right words. That’s why I became a writer: because I believe there’s nothing more powerful than a good story to inspire and transform.
I’ve had a long and diverse professional journey so far (here’s my LinkedIn for the details). I've worked in three countries as a features writer, copywriter, marketing manager, waitress, bartender, barista, research analyst and even an intern psychologist. I’ve written and edited hundreds of articles, blog posts, landing pages, emails, ads and more – almost every type of marketing content you can imagine.
In addition to all that, I have a baby newsletter on Substack and finished my first novel in 2024, which is by far the achievement I’m most proud of. I’m in the initial stages of querying it and even won an award for my writing!
I have a true appreciation for the written word and the weight it carries, and I apply that approach to everything I do. And that includes how I work with you, potential client/partner/colleague.
When we work together, I take into consideration measurable goals like conversion rates, click-through rates or web traffic. As a former marketing manager in both B2B and B2C, I know that that’s how we figure out what’s working and what isn’t, and I know that copywriting is a crucial part of strategies and campaigns with their own objectives.
But what makes me different is that I am not guided solely by this data. It’s important to know your goals, but it’s even more important to know your motivations – so I always start with why we’re working on this particular project or launching this particular campaign. I strive to understand what makes your organisation unique – your voice, your personality, your audience and, most importantly, what you stand for. Once I have a strong grasp of your values and your mission, I weave a compelling narrative filled with purpose, a story told clearly and cohesively in everything you do.
The fun bits
I’m a writer with a lifelong passion for the craft, but there’s more to me than just words on a page — or website!
Originally from Brasília, Brazil, I made my way to London in 2015 and then to Bruges, Belgium in 2019. I’m fluent in Portuguese and English, but also dabble in Spanish, French and Dutch. I’m a vegetarian with a deep love for animals, especially my cats, Athena and Bailey.
In my free time, I’m usually gardening, painting, exploring nature, solving puzzles, reading a book or listening to music. I have countless playlists for different moods, but they generally include some mix of MPB (Brazilian popular music), punk rock, metal, emo and indie rock. I’m also a big fan of scary movies and animated series.
If I were trapped on a desert island, I would take….

Bonus fun fact: I have a rare condition called lexico-gustatory synesthesia, which means I can literally taste words!
